Our Vision

Through teamwork, efficiency, and accountability, DigiTek aims to continue to provide the finest quality work for our customers, and as we continue to grow as a company, we will remain true to our core values.

DigiTek is a father (Rich) and son (William) business that started in 2018. During this time, we were working on small projects, such as installing home theater systems, home network systems, and home security systems. We knew this would help the company grow, but it wasn't our destiny. Our background comes from the Cable TV industry. Rich has over 40 years of experience in the business. He started in the early 80s as an installer and progressed his way up the ladder to most recently holding the position of Vice President for a multi-million-dollar corporation. Rich has definitely seen a lot in the business and adds a ton of value to the company with the knowledge and experience he has gained over the years.

William started in the business in 2015 and for the first three years of his career, he worked as an installer for DirecTV then Comcast. He wanted to learn more about the industry, so he found a job splicing COAX. This helped him progress into learning Outside-Plant Engineer work (OSP). William knew fiber was the future of this industry, so he decided to start learning how to splice and test fiber during his free time. This led him to the opportunity of having a splicing contract with CableCom and Sefnco (Prime Contractors for Comcast) in 2018.

DigiTek was brought up with the customer and employees in mind. Our goal is to create a company where our employees feel valued and rewarded for their efforts, all while maintaining the finest quality standards for the customer.

Our Story

Since construction work is such and inherently dangerous job with numerous possibilities of injury both in the field and off site during transportation, safety is paramount to us here at DigiTek. In order to prevent all forms of hazard, DigiTek has several safety measures in place and follows all OSHA laws and regulations. We also abide by the Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for all of our vehicles.

Every crew member here at DigiTek is fully equipped with your standard PPE when they arrive at a jobsite. For aerial construction, they are also properly equipped with the best climbing gear to ensure their safety. All of our aerial crews are Line and Pole Top Rescue certified and CPR certified. Our crews are also always working next to busy streets so several traffic safety measures are taken as well, such as placing traffic cones and traffic signs to help keep our crews safe. At the start of each day, each crew will fill out a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA). This JHA identifies all possible work hazards for that job and outlines preventive and mitigative controls for those hazards.

Each of our vehicles and trailers here at DigiTek are fully up-to-date on all DOT requirements and inspections. Each vehicle and trailer is also fully equipped with 360 degree video monitoring, not only for the safety of our employees but for the safety of other drivers as well. Daily vehicle inspections are also done on every vehicle and trailer.
